[Four]

[Anew is walking around the beach Enviro-dome. She's walking near the water and seems to be lost in thought. Of course everyone can see what she is thinking about. There's a thought bubble that shows Lyle's face. She sighs.]

How can a time loop be possible?

Bit of a jack-of-all-trades then? The space version? [smiles]

[chuckles] Yeah, I guess so.
bit_impossible: (Doctor-That's good right?)

[personal profile] bit_impossible 2009-07-15 05:58 am (UTC)(link)
So what else can you do?

[identity profile] a-new-innovator.livejournal.com 2009-07-15 06:04 pm (UTC)(link)
In addition to astrophysics, piloting, and repairing mobile suits, I also have knowledge in regenerative medicine and I can cook.
bit_impossible: (Doctor-Alright?)

[personal profile] bit_impossible 2009-07-15 07:41 pm (UTC)(link)
[his ears perk up.] Regenerative medicine? Could you tell me more about that?

[identity profile] a-new-innovator.livejournal.com 2009-07-16 07:10 pm (UTC)(link)
In our world, we have equipment that speeds healing of injuries. It also has the ability to regenerate limbs that were lost in most cases.

[She pauses a moment then explains]

The Gundams have an engine that is unique in design. However, there was a point when fake versions of these engines were made. The particles emitted by mobile suits that use the fake ones can damage the human body bound repair of regenerative medicine.

[personal profile] bit_impossible 2009-07-16 08:11 pm (UTC)(link)
So would anyone wounded by these mobile suits using the fake engines simply heal in the regular fashion humans have for millennia? The good ol' tried and true method?

No...something from your tone tells me this isn't the case. Am I correct in assuming that?

[identity profile] a-new-innovator.livejournal.com 2009-07-17 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
No, unfortunately not. There is something about these particles that slowly poison the body, destroying other cells. Essentially the particles are a form of cancer that under most conditions can't be cured.

The only thing that seemed to be working at all for one of our pilots who was wounded with those particles was exposure to the particles of his own Gundam. His Gundam put out the most particles and there was a point when the damage was remaining fairly stable.
bit_impossible: (Doctor-You don't understand)

[personal profile] bit_impossible 2009-07-17 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
It wasn't Lyle or Tieria, was it?

[identity profile] a-new-innovator.livejournal.com 2009-07-17 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
No, it was the youngest pilot. Though I suspect another might have had problems with it if something else hadn't taken him out.

[he's relieved to hear that.] Who might that have been?

[She turns her on to filtered before continuing.]

The youngest pilot is Setsuna F. Seiei.

Setsuna? [taps his chin.] Might've heard the name before. Can't quite recall if I have, though.

It's possible one of the others mentioned him or that he was here before. I don't know. He sometimes refers to himself as Gundam if that helps.
bit_impossible: (Doctor-Not going there)

[arches an eyebrow] Well, that'll be something for me to associate the boy with. Sounds to me that he really should a doctor about that disassociations...

[she chuckles] Possibly. I'm not quite sure why he does it.

Compensation issues, perhaps? [scratches his head.]
